Panamá participó por primera vez en el FLISOL 2007, bajo el liderazgo e iniciativacomo iniciativa de un grupo de jóvenes y no tan jóvenes que se organizaron para establecer la Fraternidad de Software Libre, siendo su objetivo la celebración de este evento en nuestro país. En ese año (2007) se propusieron dos (2) sedes: Penonomé y Panamá.

Para el 2008, nos estamos organizando nuevamente, con la intención de participar por segunda vez en este magno evento de colaboración y fraternidad latinoamericana en pro del software libre. Ya estamos en el proceso de organización, si quieres colaborar no dudes en contactarnos.
