Las instalaciones de Software Libre en las maquinas de los asistentes se realizaran en paralelo a las charlas y los talleres durante todo el dia.

= Recomendaciones para instalación =
 1. Debes crear una copia de respaldo de tus datos (en especial de la información importante), los instaladores no se responsabilizaran por perdida de datos en particionamiento.
 2. Si no tiene partición libre para la instalación, debes des-fragmentar tu(s) disco(s) duro(s).
 3. Si tienes portátil no olvides llevar el cargador.
 4. Si no tienes portátil debes llevar el computador completo (torre, mouse, teclado y cables de poder)

NOTA: No instalamos servidores, no hacemos mantenimiento de hardware y tampoco arreglamos problemas de configuración de Sistemas Operativos propietarios.

Con el objetivo de promover y difundir el uso de Software Libre, el próximo Sábado 24 de Abril se llevará a cabo el Festival Latinoamericano de Instalación de Software Libre en esta ciudad.

El FLISOL es el evento de difusión de Software Libre más grande en Latinoamérica. Se realiza desde el año 2005 y su principal objetivo es promover el uso del software libre, dando a conocer su filosofía, sus alcances, avances y desarrollo al público en general.

Para tal fin, las diversas comunidades locales de software libre (en cada país, en cada ciudad/localidad), organizan simultáneamente eventos en los que se instala de manera gratuita y totalmente legal, software libre en las computadoras de los asistentes. Además, en forma paralela, se ofrecen charlas, ponencias y talleres, sobre temáticas locales, nacionales y latinoamericanas en torno al Software Libre, en toda su gama de expresiones: artística, académica, empresarial y social.

La participación en el evento es totalmente libre y gratuita.

Instalaciones

Las instalaciones de Software Libre en las maquinas de los asistentes se realizaran en paralelo a las charlas y los talleres durante todo el dia.

Recomendaciones para instalación

  1. Debes crear una copia de respaldo de tus datos (en especial de la información importante), los instaladores no se responsabilizaran por perdida de datos en particionamiento.
  2. Si no tiene partición libre para la instalación, debes des-fragmentar tu(s) disco(s) duro(s).
  3. Si tienes portátil no olvides llevar el cargador.
  4. Si no tienes portátil debes llevar el computador completo (torre, mouse, teclado y cables de poder)
